2023 Paubox Kahikina Scholarship: FAQs

 

Here's a post that answers frequently asked questions for current and prospective Paubox Kahikina Scholarship recipients. 

What's happening: Now in its fifth year, the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship is expanding in reach.

The primary objective of the scholarship is to encourage Native Hawaiians to pursue careers in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math).

The scholarship is recurring in nature. In other words, recipients receive $1,000 per year until they graduate.

Why it matters: As the scholarship gets larger, blog posts like this will assist in its growth.

By the numbers: We are looking for applicants who meet the following criteria:

  • Native Hawaiian
  • Pursuing a STEM-related major
  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Annually publish content on your college journey

  • If I'm a current Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship recipient, do I need to reapply? No.
  • When is the deadline to apply? Wednesday, May 31st.

The bottom line: For existing recipients, there's nothing to do until June.

For new applicants, apply here by May 31st (Wednesday).
