While there, we visited Hawaii Cancer Care and spoke with Christeii Gota, the practice administrator of HCC. Here is the transcript around how Chris has seen Paubox benefit Hawaii Cancer Care. Christeii Gota: “Paubox has made it easier to communicate and resolve patient issues faster”
Hoala Greevy: Now I understand you folks are using Microsoft 365 for your email hosting solution, and we wrapped around - Paubox - around Microsoft 365. Can you tell us what life is like after now that you have Paubox?
Chris Gota: Well, we're still very strict about our security, so we're still continue to train our staff to keep PHI safe. But it is so much more convenient to have Paubox automatically encrypt all of our emails. I don't have to worry about - you know we still use the MRN system, but I don't have to worry if I accidentally mention that this patient needs this particular test, and is that too much information that I put on an email? Or the constant reminders that I have to give staff, "You weren't supposed to send that information out on email." Staff work very hard here and they're very dedicated and sometimes, you know, you don't want to make it sound like they did something wrong. Because they technically are just doing their job. So Paubox has made it so much easier for us to communicate with each other and resolve our issues that we need to take care of for our patients in a lot faster time frame.
