Day 2 at HIMSS 2025 was slightly quieter than our opening day in Las Vegas but every bit as good. Our booth #3258 turned into something of a hotspot as Paubox customers made special trips to visit us and share their success stories face-to-face.
The popularity of our signature flashing sunglasses was a hit, as always - we've now distributed approximately 2,000 pairs! Seeing the exhibition floor light up with these Paubox-branded accessories has been fantastic.
A fascinating trend emerged in my conversations today. Many attendees expressed significant frustration with our competitors' portal-based communication systems. They described patient adoption challenges, workflow disruptions, and the struggle to balance engagement with compliance requirements.
One healthcare administrator told me, "We're spending more time teaching patients how to use portals than actually communicating with them." Another mentioned, "Our staff dreads the constant phone calls from patients who can't access their information."
In contrast, Paubox customer Michael Riesberg of Iowa Radiology said, "[Paubox] made my problems go away with encryption. It took it out of the users' hands and put it in IT's hands. That immediately took care of all our problems."
These discussions reinforced what we've always believed at Paubox - that seamless, secure communication shouldn't create additional barriers. When healthcare professionals discover our portal-free approach to HIPAA compliant email, their relief is palpable.
