Paubox engineering released the following improvements this month:
"Don't Make Me Think"
Following author and usability consultant Steve Krug's example, we're continuously optimizing our user interface (UI) so customers can find what they need without confusion.
Updates:
- Removed certain password requirements in order to match current NIST guidelines
- min. 8 characters, max 64 characters
- all characters including spaces and symbols are allowed
- hCaptcha now operates in invisible mode
- 99.9% passive removes the manual hCaptcha input for most users
-
- Only high risk users (from risky IPs, using a VPN, etc) will be required to manually solve hCaptchas
- Email and password input boxes enlarged
- Alignment, label, and copy changes for clarity
- HTML title tags added to each tab within the platform shows the user which product they're viewing
- This is especially important for recipients of Paubox Forms
Bug Fixes
- Corrected a UI bug that produced a silent failure when incorrect credit card details were entered into our payment page
- Corrected a bug within Multifactor Authentication (MFA) where users' phone numbers were not being accepted
New features
New features are developed based on customer feedback.
- Custom headers for Email API
- Coupon codes now live in our self-service sign up wizard
- SSO for Google Workspace is being alpha tested and will be available for all users in 2025
