Discussing Paubox Email Suite Plus over dinner with Preston Terada

Last night I had dinner at Kyung's Seafood with Preston Terada. Preston is the IT Manager at Kahala Nui, a retirement home in Honolulu. Turns out Preston is a McKinley High School graduate like me. In fact, he went to McKinley during the same time that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson did. Preston joked that he used to take his lunch money. Search take!

Kahala Nui are early adopters of Paubox and have been instrumental in providing us feedback on our Paubox Email Suite Premium solution.

Here are some of my takeaways from my dinner with Preston Terada:

  • I learned about Tailgating (breach via social engineering).
  • Preston's thoughts on adding Inbound DLP (data loss prevention) to our solution: "That would be a game changer."
  • Preston loves the customer service he gets from Paubox.
  • Loves our "How to Make Gmail HIPAA Compliant" post.
  • Preston needs several more features built into Paubox Email Suite Premium.
  • "The insider threat is an overlooked attack vector."

About Kyung's Seafood

Kyung's Seafood - Paubox

Kyung's Seafood was opened by the former owner of Keeaumoku Seafood, Kyung Cha. The restaurant, which is cozy, serves top grade sashimi and poke, a variety of local cuisine mixed with a touch of Korean flair, and an assortment of beer and wine. They have an "extended happy hour" that runs from 11am - 7pm. That's basically a work shift lol. All in all, it was a great experience and I want to go back again.
