Gabriella Kanoa: what the Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship means to me
Hannah Trum August 11, 2021
A word from one of this year's recipients, Gabriella Kanoa. Gabriella attends the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and studies civil engineering.
Gabriella Kanoa: Aloha my name is Gabriella Kanoa and I am a rising junior at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa and study civil engineering. I am honored to be a recipient of the Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship. With this award, I am able to continue to focus on my studies and indulge in all the possibilities college can provide. Throughout my life, I have always valued Ohana and the idea of a supportive community. The generosity of Hoala and the scholarship committee is a reflection of this. I hope that one day I can follow in their footsteps and give back to the Hawaiian community as well. Thank you
