Gordon Bruce: How Paubox works seamlessly with Google Workspace [VIDEO]

Last May, we launched our first Paubox Customer Success Road Show, returning to the homeland of Hawaii to meet with customers and make new friends. While there, we visited Gordon "Gordo" Bruce, one of the Board of Directors at Seagull Schools.

Paubox integrates seamlessly with business email providers such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Gordon Bruce, CEO of GJB & Associates and one of the Board of Directors at Seagull Schools, shares how easy it was to set up Paubox for the nonprofit organization.

Gordon Bruce: How Paubox works seamlessly with Google Workspace

UPDATE: In April 2020, in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office for Civil Rights (OCR) at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the Notification of Enforcement Discretion, which allows healthcare providers to use widely available communication apps, such as [name of the app], for telehealth services without the risk of incurring HIPAA fines. Hoala Greevy: So if I hear you correctly, you went and got approved for the Google Workspace for Education group license and then you were able to wrap Paubox around that installation and provide encrypted email for all Seagull users across six campuses.

Gordo: Yeah literally changed seagullschools.com, which was also using Paubox, literally wrapped it around to seagullschools.org, which is a non-profit, which is what they are, wrapped that around that, and then now we have bundled it all as one piece.

Hoala Greevy: Very nice.

Gordo: Very nice, and you helped us with domains and everything because seagullschools.com we had to migrate to the other. You were so helpful and said we're not going to try to charge you for two licenses, we know you’re moving from this to the other, we’ll help you through this process. And from a consumer standpoint, that being the teachers and such, it made life so much easier for them. We’re simple.

Gordo: I'm getting too old to think too hard on this stuff so you have to keep it easy, keep it easy.
