The Paubox team is in Newport, RI, for the 2024 NESHCo Annual Conference hosted by the New England Society for Healthcare Communications. This year's theme is "Charting a New Course in Healthcare Marketing" and focuses on the disruption and change occurring in healthcare communication and marketing.

We've had some great conversations and always enjoy opportunities to discuss how powerful personlization in healthcare email marketing can be.

 

Highlights:

  • Healthcare communications is Paubox's wheelhouse, and it was great to be amongst marketing and comms professionals.
  • Olympian Elizabeth Beisel gave an inspiring opening keynote about persevering through hard times and keeping a positive attitude.
  • The conference in Newport added a nautical theme to the conference tracks with sessions titled "Changing Tides: What the Future Holds" and "Riding Out the Storm."
  • In the wake of the Change Healthcare debacle and the ever-increasing threat of cyberattacks, crisis communication was a top topic.
  • AI, as expected, was top-of-mind, particularly in how it could help marketers get more from data.
  • Discussions on the basics of brand positioning and strategy were a great choice.
  • NESHCo included a wonderful Giving Back Initiative that benefited the MLK House in Newport.
