- Network server breaches affected the most people in June 2021. 507,183 individuals had their data breached.
- Email breaches were the second most common, with 93,089 people affected.
- Other breach types affected 47,685 people, the third most common breach type.

Most common breach types
- Network servers were the most common attack vector in June 2021. There were 27 network server breaches.
- Email breaches were the second most common attack vector; thirteen attacks via email were reported.
- Electronic medical record breaches had a total of 4 breaches last month.
Takeaways
After falling to number two in May, network servers once again affected the most people this month and were the most common breach type.
Northwestern Memorial HealthCare had the largest breach affecting 201,197 people. San Juan Regional Medical Center had the second-largest breach affecting 68,792 people. Both breaches occurred via a network server.
