- Network server breaches affected the most people in June 2022. 3,882,776 individuals had their data breached.
- Other breaches were the second most common breach, with 1,343,311 people affected.
- Electronic medical record breaches affected 512,254 people, the third most common breach type.

- Network server, email and electronic medical record breach types were the most common attack vectors in June 2018-2022.
- Network server breaches occurred 79 total times.
- Email breaches occurred a total of 68 times, and electronic medical record types occurred 23 times.
- The most significant number of email breaches happened in June 2020.
Takeaways
Network server breaches affected the most people in June 2022. Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center had the most significant breach that affected 1,290,104 people. MCG Health, LLC had the second-largest breach that affected 793,283 people.
The yearly comparison shows that network server breaches were the most popular attack vectors for bad actors over the last five June months. Over 8 million total individuals had their data breached via 79 network server breaches during this time.
