UberConference is a cloud-based phone and video conferencing solution from Dialpad. Based on their corporate jargon, a core value proposition is that users can join a conference call without entering a PIN. UberConference was launched in 2012 and is part of Dialpad's product line. The company is headquartered in San Francisco.
If a Business Associate provides services to a Covered Entity, then a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) must be in place. A BAA is a written contract between a Covered Entity and a Business Associate and is required by law for HIPAA compliance. At a minimum, a Business Associate Agreement contains 10 provisions.
