The 36th Annual JP Morgan Healthcare Conference went down this week in our backyard of San Francisco. Otherwise known as JPM Week, it's an opportune time to get out and network amongst our peers in the Health Care industry.
On Tuesday we attended the Redox social mixer at Uno Dos Tacos in the SoMa district. While there, I got a chance to catchup with Sisu Global Health co-founder Katie Kirsch.
Here's the transcript from our conversation:
Katie Kirsch: My biggest concern for health in 2018 is to be too U.S. focused. We need to look beyond the U.S. significantly for both health care concerns because they affect the U.S., as well as looking for new solutions for health care outside of the U.S.
Hoala Greevy: Okay, great!
Sisu Global Health seeks to end healthcare disparities by developing medical technology that addresses critical needs in emerging markets. Each of their devices are patented or patent-pending and address the issues of access to medical devices by considering each stakeholder throughout the value chain.
