We held our third Zoom Social Mixer today.
Similar to our first one, customers, prospects, and staff zoomed in from across the country:
- Arizona
- California
- Colorado
- Florida
- Hawaii
- Louisiana
- Massachusetts
- Nevada
- Texas
I missed last month’s Zoom Social Mixer, as it coincided on the day I got married.
This time around, I didn’t need to get in my truck and deliver adult beverages in person. So I’d say we’re improving 🙂
The Paubox Zoom Social Mixer
The premise for the Paubox Zoom Social Mixer is simple: We recreate things we used to do in real life (IRL) on the internet.
As such, we ask our guests two questions beforehand:
- What would you like to drink?
- Where will you be?
As noted in our Playbook for Zoom Social Mixers, delivering any beverage to any city in the U.S. on a timely basis is not easy. We usually use an app like Drizly (now Uber) to deliver each person’s order.
To start the Zoom Social Mixer, we go around the “room” with introductions. After a few pre-selected topics, we generally let the discussions flow.
During the pandemic, I’ve noticed people are eager to talk to folks outside their household.
On that note, if we can provide a venue to allow our guests to extend their professional networks, trade ideas, share trends, and get questions answered about Paubox, we’re creating a win-win scenario.
As for myself, I walked over to The Pacific Club for the virtual mixer, where I found pleasant outdoor weather and a glass of Cabernet.
