The Paubox team spent yesterday morning picking up trash around Crissy Field in San Francisco. The 13 person-hours we spent cleaning up the beach goes toward our goal to complete 50 hours of community service in 2020. This is our second volunteering event of the year, the first being when we served meals at Glide Church in January. Paubox also donated $500 to Orca Conservancy of Washington State. Orca Conservancy is committed to the recovery of the southern resident killer whale population and protecting the critical habitat on which they depend.
Since 1996, Orca Conservancy has worked tirelessly to recover the southern resident orca population throughout their habitat range through science, education and outreach. We used one of our Brex corporate credit cards to make the donation. Brex is building the next generation of B2B financial services with better tech and without the restrictions of legacy technology. Brex helps startups like Paubox to instantly get a credit card that has 20x higher limits, completely automates expense management, kills receipt tracking and magically integrates with their accounting systems. This beach clean up and donation ties in perfectly with our newest product, Project Orca, which allows healthcare providers to send HIPAA compliant email marketing including patient data to drive more engagement and results. The ability to send HIPAA compliant email is becoming a large trend within the value-based care model. Enjoy the pics!
