The Paubox Kahikina Scholarship helps Native Hawaiian students pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and Tech in general. Its purpose is to offer financial support and create a strong network for these students. The scholarship makes education more affordable and connects students with professionals, giving them valuable opportunities to learn and grow in their chosen STEM or Tech fields. This scholarship is about more than just money; it's about building a community and empowering Native Hawaiian students to succeed in STEM or Tech careers.

As a recent Maui High School graduate, scholarship recipient Bryan Pontanilla now attends Portland State University and is an architecture major. Here is a word from Bryan Pontanilla:
"Mr. Greevy always tells us that he believes in us and that makes a world of difference! I really do want to thank Mr. Greevy and the Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship Committee for picking me as one of the 2022 scholars. I was so nervous to attend the Paubox luncheon this past December but soon realized that so many successful Native Hawaiians are here to guide and support us. I will treasure these connections forever! Mahalo again and I look forward to seeing everyone, including the new 2023 Paubox Scholars, again this December on Oahu."
