The Paubox Kahikina Scholarship helps Native Hawaiian students pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) and Tech in general. Its purpose is to offer financial support and create a strong network for these students. The scholarship makes education more affordable and connects students with professionals, giving them valuable opportunities to learn and grow in their chosen STEM or Tech fields. This scholarship is about more than just money; it's about building a community and empowering Native Hawaiian students to succeed in STEM or Tech careers.

As a recent Kamehameha Schools Kapalama graduate, scholarship recipient Kainoa Hottendorf will move on to attend UC Berkeley to study Pre-Med. Here is a word from Kainoa:
"Aloha, my name is Kainoa Hattendorf, and I am a proud recipient of the 2023 Paubox Kahikuna STEM Scholarship. I'm a recent twenty-twenty-three graduate of Kamehameha Schools, Kapalama, and I am currently attending UC Berkeley.
The Paubox Scholarship will help me with my tuition at Berkeley, while simultaneously keeping me in touch with the terrific resource in the Paubox community.
I want to take this opportunity to show my aloha to Mr. Greevy, Nick Wong, and the rest of the Paubox team. I am so genuinely grateful for the chance to further my education. Mahalo!"
