Paubox Texting now supports replies. In addition, we've integrated it into Paubox Marketing.
In a nutshell, we're building a HIPAA compliant, omnichannel communication solution.
What's happening: We launched Paubox Texting during day one of ViVE 2024 Los Angeles conference in February. The initial launch solely included the ability to send HIPAA compliant texts via API.

Diving deeper:
- Via customer feedback, we quickly learned replies are the missing feature that’s needed the most.
- We immediately got to work on building out replies.
- Unlike an email, a reply to a Paubox Text sits on our infrastructure and not in our customers' mailboxes. Replies must therefore be reflected in the Paubox Dashboard.
- So if both outgoing and incoming Paubox Texts reside in the Paubox Dashboard, we need to identify who they belong to. This leads to the concept of contact management.
- Paubox Marketing, our HIPAA compliant email marketing solution, already stores contacts for customers.
- We therefore merged Paubox Texting with Paubox Marketing.
What's next?: Next up, we're next building out read receipts and support for attachments.
Why it matters: We believe the market wants an omnichannel, HIPAA compliant communication solution. We know this because our customers are asking for it.
