Taysia Morioka: what the Paubox Kahikina STEM Scholarship means to me
Hannah Trum August 13, 2021
A word from one of this year's recipients, Taysia Morioka. Taysia will attend the University of Michigan to study chemical engineering.
Taysia Morioka: Hi, everyone. My name is Taysia Morioka and I'm so humbled and honored to be one of the 2021 Paubox Kahikina scholarship recipients. It really means so much to me that Mr. Hoala Greevy and the rest of the Paubox team believed in me and that they had enough faith and trust in me, to help me ease the financial burden of my college education. In the spirit of this award, I truly hope that I'll be able to make my Hawaii Community proud of the investment that Paubox is making to my future and into the future of so many other native Hawaiians like me, who are deciding to pursue STEM. I want to thank Paubox again, for all that they've done for me and all that they continue to do for me over the next four years. Thank you so much.
