In 2016 we filed a provisional patent that described our unique approach to email security and encryption.

When it comes to both sending and receiving encrypted email, we've devised a new method, a step forward in the maturation of the internet.

About a year later in August 2017, we filed a formal patent application with the U.S. Patent Office. Fast forward to last month, we're pleased to announce all 20 claims were granted for our patent: Method for securely communicating email content between a sender and a recipient.

It's been a long journey for our first patent. It's also my first one.

We will continue burnishing our position as the market leader for HIPAA compliant email.

This patent is another data point supporting our stance.
