I got my grill on at the "Yee-Haw Gyros” booth at the Punahou Carnival today.
What's happening: My wife and I volunteered at the Punahou Carnival this afternoon for a three-hour shift.
Zooming out: Punahou School is a Paubox customer and supporter of the Paubox Kahikina Scholarship.
On the job training: My grilling duties involved the following:
- Empty a box full of shaved lamb meat onto the grill
- Use gloved hands to break apart meat
- Pour two bottles of water over meat
- Grill for two to three minutes
- Place meat into a paper-lined double tray
- Place tray in the heating tower, on the bottom shelf
- Scrap grill to clean it
- Grab another box
