The solution
Grassroots Labs discovered Paubox through Google Search when Aten found some of Paubox's online resources. They needed something easy to implement with little friction. Since Grassroots Labs primarily sends email-related orders, they wanted something simple but effective and secure for customer communication. "Whenever [a customer] bought something, whenever they changed their password, if they bought a test that required extra instructions or follow-up, we would send that via email. And so we wanted an encrypted option for that."
Soon, he was ready to implement the new API. He said the process was "Easy…I just gave the documentation to my developer and he switched it over, I think in a couple of days." It's been smooth sailing since.
The results
Now, Aten says every email they send goes through the Paubox API. Even the app they currently use for email marketing is protected through the API. They've been using Paubox for about a year. "It's been great," Aten says. "It just works, you know? I haven't had to look at it or mess with it, so that means it's doing its job."
The team's favorite part? Ease of use and customer service. "Customer service has been great… there's maybe been a problem one or two times…and once I reached out, it got fixed. So, support's been good."
