We’ve mentioned before how the premise of a Paubox Zoom social mixer is pretty simple, we recreate things we used to do in real life (IRL) on the internet. Yesterday was no different, as we held our October 2022 Zoom social mixer.
As we’ve stated in the Paubox Foundations, we use customer feedback as our roadmap of what to build and when. It’s events like these that further enable us to achieve our mission of becoming the market leader for HIPAA compliant communication.
This post covers some of its highlights.

An opportunity to network and share best practices
Customers, prospects, and staff from eight states joined us for spirited conversations and hosted beverages. In addition, guests were treated to food and beverage deliveries or gift cards on us.
The Paubox October Zoom social mixer provided a networking opportunity for our customers and prospects to discuss strategies and best practices for running the IT side of a healthcare business more efficiently.
Our Zoom social mixers usually start the same. Attendees first introduce themselves, followed by our staff. We then begin with topics chosen by prospects and clients to get things flowing.
Topics from last night’s event included:
- HIPAA compliant email
- An increase in inbound security concerns (this is an evergreen trend)
- A spike in spammy email and ransomware (another recurring trend on the internet)
- The need for cybersecurity training for staff
- How geofencing is a powerful feature for inbound security (we’re seeking customer feedback on new countries to add to the list)
- Now that the pandemic is subsiding, what conferences are people going to?
We also shared costume ideas for Halloween. One of these days we’ll come up with a Paubox costume for Halloween. I’m not quite sure what that will entail.
See everyone next month =)
